This article is intended for Digital Campus customers who have configured their Digital Campus (DC) portal to allow for off-campus access via EZ Proxy. Please be aware of an unusual issue that may arise under very specific circumstances. In this particular scenario:
- The portal appears perfectly normal when viewed from an on-campus location that does not utilize EZ Proxy.
- However, the portal appears blank or empty when viewed from an off-campus location that does utilize EZ Proxy.
You can tell if your connection to the portal is traveling over EZ Proxy by examining the appearance of the browser's address bar. Connections that utilize EZ Proxy usually look something like this -
http://digitalcampus-swankmp-net.proxy.schoolname.edu
If you see this hyphenated form of address, your connection to the DC portal is almost certainly utilizing EZ Proxy.
If the film catalog page appears blank, white or empty, you may be affected by this issue. Customers have reported that they have been able to resolve this issue by moving their Swank Digital Campus stanza to the top of their configuration list.
