Swank content is generally produced in widescreen format (16:9). Legacy 4:3 assets may still exist but are not typical for modern production.

Flat / Scope

Flat (1.85:1)

Flat refers to the standard widescreen presentation that emphasizes image height. Content at or below 1.85:1 (such as 16:9, 1.66:1, or 4:3) fits naturally into this category. When narrower formats are shown, they typically appear with vertical side bars to preserve the original framing.

Scope (2.39:1)

Scope refers to ultra‑wide theatrical presentation designed to emphasize image width. Native Scope content (roughly 2.35–2.40:1) fills the screen horizontally and delivers the classic widescreen cinematic look associated with epic and large‑scale films.
