Issue: Cinelink displays Error 9. This error message typically means that the Cinelink is having difficulty reading the video file from storage. This usually means one of two things:
- The movie copied to the device during the update process became corrupted.
- If other titles play fine, the storage is likely okay. Contact Swank Digital Support to force a new download. Connect your Cinelink to the internet to receive the new download.
- There may be an issue with the Cinelink storage.
- If multiple files fail, contact Swank Digital Support to request new downloads. Connect your Cinelink to the internet to receive the new downloads.
- If problems persist after re-downloading, the storage is likely faulty and the device needs to be replaced. Contact your Account Executive to discuss a replacement.
