Content Protection

Swank Digital Media Player (DMP) orders are protected with Swank encryption. The DMP will automatically decrypt the content when the USB drive is connected.

Content Order File Structure

Below is the basic file structure of a DMP order with directories in bold.

        (productNumber).MediaFileInfo.json	Specifications for the content file in json format.
        (productNumber).MediaFileInfo.xml	Specifications for the content file in xml format.
        (language).srt	If available .srt/subtitle files will be here.

• Publicity

    • (Language) (If available publicity files will be included in this directory.)

    • FilmMetadata.xml - Publicity metadata for specific title.
• Schemas (schema files for the included data)

• Content.xml	AES encrypted file for license data.
  Manifest.json	Describes the contents of the drive including where the content and publicity can be found for each item in json format.
  Manifest.xml	Describes the contents of the drive including where the content and publicity can be found for each item in xml format.
  ShipmentInformation.txt	Digital packing slip for the order.
  Installer.xml	DMP 8 update file.
  Setup.msi	DMP 8 update file.
  SysUpgrader.exe	DMP 8 update file.
  Update.SCR	Delimited text file for legacy decryption method.
