Encode Specifications
Swank has a number of different encode configurations available to suit the needs of your content playback systems.

Streaming Encodes: Our streaming content is designed to use Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) streaming, in order to be as network friendly as possible. Each title contains 5 different bit rates to allow the client devices to stream the best encode suited for their device and network.

Notes:
- There are many types of metadata values that are not guaranteed to be present as we are providing exactly what the studios give to us. It is important to not code an ingestion process to be dependent on all values being present.
- Pro:Idiom and Samsung LYNK orders are slightly different. Click on the respective links to see their file structures.
Content Delivery
Swank offers multiple options for receiving content, tailored to meet the unique needs of your organization.
- Network Download: Network downloads are available via IBM Aspera. IBM Aspera is a high-speed data transfer solution designed to move large files quickly and securely over wide area networks.
- USB Hard Drive Delivery: Some customers may be in environments where internet access is not readily available. These customers can receive content updates via a physical USB hard drive.
- Direct Network Delivery: Equipment Partners using the Swank DRM platform can receive automatic network deliveries to their systems.

Content Issues
If you are experiencing issues with a specific title, please contact Swank Digital Support with the specifics of what you are experiencing. Please include timeframes if applicable. We will pass this on to our Content Team and they will review the issue being reported. If a confirmed issue is found, a new encode will be created and made available.
