In order to process USB hard drive content updates, please ensure to follow these steps:
- Attach the USB hard disk to your Cinelink™ using the included USB cable.
- The content update process will begin automatically.
- A flashing USB icon will appear in the upper left of the control monitor.
- The title that is currently being processed will appear on the control monitor and will be grayed out. If that title is selected, you will see a percentage remaining indicator showing how much of the title has been imported.
- Ingesting content from a drive takes about 5-10 minutes per title.
- Once the full content update has completed, the USB icon in the upper left will disappear.
If your content hard drive is not ingesting,
- Try restarting the device
- Try another USB cable
- Try another USB port
If you continue to have issues, the files may have been corrupted and need to be replaced. Please contact your account executive with the order number you are having an issue with and the asset tag number of the Cinelink device. The order number will be printed on the barcode label attached to the USB hard drive.
