This document includes the specific authentication methods available to Swank Healthcare customers.
Tablets & BYOD services: IP Address Authentication
This restricts viewing to the allowed public IPs of the facility. This is sufficient for allowing access across the entire facility population and is required for all Healthcare deployments using the Tablet or BYOD Cloud Streaming portals.
Provide your public IP range(s) and this can be configured by our Accounts and Support Teams. Acceptable formats are individual IPs, IP ranges, or CIDR range formats. When submitting new IPs, please verify and provide the full list of IPs so that any no-longer required IPs may be removed.
ip_address = ["1.1.0.1", "1.1.0.2"]
ip_cidr = ["1.1.0.1/24", "1.1.1.1/24"]
ip_range = ["1.1.0.1 - 1.1.0.5", "1.1.1.0 - 1.1.1.20"]
Patient Entertainment for TV Devices: Device ID Authentication
The Patient Entertainment app requires device registration. When submitting new devices, please send the full list you wish to remain registered so that unused devices may be removed.
For AppleTVs the UUID is required. For detailed instructions see https://swankmp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/35294438477844-Cloud-Streaming-Patient-Entertainment-App-AppleTV-Setup-Instructions
