Content Delivery
There are three ways to receive content for your Cinelink™ device, Network Delivery Directly to Cinelink, USB Hard Drive Delivery, or Network Download via Aspera. Click on the following link for additional details: Cinelink™ - Content Delivery
Content Security
- Content is transferred and stored encrypted with AES.
- All communication between the devices and our services are transmitted through SSL, uses two-sided certificate authentication, and is signed with asymmetric keys.
- The devices store their keys in a trusted platform module initialized for the specific installation.
The content is decrypted only during playback. The keys for the content are encrypted using license encryption asymmetric keys specific to each device. - A forensic watermark is applied to the content during playback if the content is pre-home (i.e., distributed before the official home release), so any copy (even made with a low-quality camera) can be traced to a specific order line.
- The device outputs video through HDMI (1.x), requiring HDCP (1.x) compliant hardware throughout the output chain. If the HDCP compliance check fails, the content output is downgraded to 640x480 resolution or stopped.

Content Issues
If you are experiencing issues with a specific title, please contact Swank Digital Support with the specifics of what you are experiencing. Please include timeframes if applicable. We will pass this on to our Content Team and they will review the issue being reported. If a confirmed issue is found, a new encode can be created.
Note: A preview watermark will be present if it is outside of your content license window start and end dates. During the licensed period it will not be there.
