In order to acquire a Virtual Streaming Server, please contact your Swank Account Representative. Once an order has been placed, you will receive a link, username, and password to download the OVA file. Or, if you request a drive, we will deliver the OVA file on a portable USB hard drive. Once you have received the file, please proceed as follows:
- Deploy the OVA in your virtual environment
- C: drive requires 60GB partition
- E: drive requires 1TB minimum, size scales based on content quantity and encodes
- Log into the Virtual Streaming Server using the Windows credentials provided with the OVA file.
- If you do not have the credentials, please contact support@swankmp.zendesk.com
- Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost/Activate
- Email the following information to support@swankmp.zendesk.com to acquire an activation code:
- Model Number (Exactly as it appears on the page)
- Serial Number (Exactly as it appears on the page)
- Alternatively, you can click the Copy to Clipboard icon to copy Model and Serial Number to your clipboard and paste it in your email
- Customer Name and Account Number
- We will respond within 1 business day with an activation code. This code can be pasted into the activation code field, then click Activate. The VM will then reboot
- Once the VM is rebooted, the content drive will automatically expand to the size of the virtual drive you have provided in your virtual environment
- Swank may request Remote access to the VM to verify settings and finalize any outstanding installation steps
- If all required ports are open*, any available content and software updates will begin downloading
