It’s time to update the content on the Digital Media Player (DMP). Please update the content as soon as possible, before your current content expires.
1. Prepare for the Update
- Locate the USB drive(s) you received from Swank.
- Unplug any other drives other than the update drive.
- Make sure the DMP software is open and running (the update may take place while content is playing).
2. Insert the Drive
- Plug the USB drive into any open USB port on the front or back of the Digital Media Player
3. Start the Update
- Click OK to begin the update.
- The process may take up to 5 minutes for each full-length movie.
- The status of each title is shown as “Processing” (the title is being added to the player) or “Pending” (title is waiting to be added to the player). In the example below, “Apollo 18” is processing and the other titles on the drive are pending.
- At the top of the screen, you will see the total number of films on the drive and the status.
- Scroll to see additional titles.
4. Verify the Update
- When all of the content has been added to the DMP, they will show a status of “Success”.
- Click OK to complete the update process.
5. Return the Drive
- Remove the USB drive and return the drive to Swank within 15 days:
