Cloud Streaming - Clear Browser Cache and Cookies

Issue: Having trouble logging into a cloud hosted streaming site, receiving a black screen, or being redirected to an error page that states "Invalid Portal".

Resolution: Clear cache of the browser and restart your browser. Please see instructions below: 

How to Clear Cache and Cookies in Chrome and Firefox

Google Chrome

1. Open Settings:
   • Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of Chrome.
   • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
2. Access Privacy and Security:
   • Scroll down and click on "Privacy and security" in the left-hand menu.
3. Clear Browsing Data:
   • Under "Privacy and security," click "Clear browsing data."
4. Choose What to Clear:
   • In the pop-up window:
     • Set the Time range to "All time".
     • Check "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files."
5. Clear Data:
   • Click "Clear data."

Mozilla Firefox

1. Open Settings:
   • Click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top-right corner of Firefox.
   • Select "Settings" (or "Options" on some versions).
2. Go to Privacy & Security:
   • In the left-hand menu, click "Privacy & Security."
3. Clear Data:
   • Scroll to the "Cookies and Site Data" section.
   • Click "Clear Data."
4. Choose What to Clear:
   • In the pop-up window, check "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content."
5. Clear Data:
   • Click "Clear."
   • Confirm by clicking "Clear Now."

• Clearing cookies will log you out of most websites. Be sure to save your passwords or bookmark any essential pages.
• Restart your browser after clearing cache and cookies for the changes to take effect.
