Issue: The Cinelink™ device only displays the Cinelink™ logo on boot up.
Resolution: When you have two displays connected to the Cinelink™, it’s normal for HDMI 1 to display only the Cinelink™ logo until a movie begins to play. If an HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI 2 port, anything on the other end could cause the device to display the user interface out of that port. This could explain why you only see the Cinelink™ logo on HDMI 1. To test if the Cinelink™ is functioning, disconnect anything from HDMI 2 and reboot.
The normal boot sequence should show the following
- First, the Cinelink logo screen:
- ,
- Then the self-check screen:
- And finally, the carousel screen:
If the issue persists it could be an indicator the hard drive has failed, and you should contact your Account Executive to see about getting a replacement unit.
